My World

It’s been a long time since I bought my green, cool refrigerator. I bought it during my first salary here in Canada. It’s nice and very useful to all of us. It’s a little bit old and now it’s the best time for me to change the refrigerator filter to have a safe water to drink. Keeping pure, clean, sweet tasting ice in the freezer is something beneficial to us. I’m very thankful also because it’s always full of delicious and healthy foods. Eating the right kind of food is very necessary to maintain good health. To ensure that our foods will not be spoiled or raw meat and vegetables will still be fresh we need to use a refrigerator. Though it’s quite expensive but you can have it through installment basis. There are companies that offer six, one, or two years to pay. But if you have a bigger salary then you can have it on cash to cash basis like mine.

I’m glad that my second daughter decided to enroll at the gym fitness last Saturday. she was with her friends when they decided to sign up Good life Fitness. it is located inside the mall below the fast food. According to her it was great and amazing. Everyday she go there in the afternoon after her work. She enjoys a lot and I hope she will not stop. I want her to reduce weight because she gain more weight especially this summer season. She also tried to reduce her food intake and eat only healthy foods. I hope it will be successful. To my daughter, good luck to my dear.

It was ten years ago when I traveled from my country to Canada. It’s my daughter who applied in the immigration and I’m so thankful that it was successful. Time move so fast and I am so happy in this country now. I already gain a lot of friends and most of my children are here. During winter months I make sure that I have winter stuffs to wear. Recently, two of my grand children told me that they wants snow sleds this winter season. They ask me to buy each of them. I’m not sure if I can purchase but I will try my best. They make me happy all the time so I want them to be very happy also. Whatever they wish in life, I am willing to give if I can afford to buy. Maybe I will buy and give to them before winter comes so that they will be proud of me.

God is so good to me. Of all the sacrifices and hardships that I encountered in life I become happy and successful. I have nothing to ask for. Even though I’m a little bit old but I am healthy and no problems with my health. I am very lucky to have a good life. I also experience ups and down but still I am determined to achieve all my goals. With the help of my children and of course to God, I am here happy and successful. I am not rich but I have a comfortable place to live and all my children are happy too.

Summer time is about to end and we all know that cold weather is fast approaching. All of us need to prepare coats, comfortable sweaters, gloves, thick clothes and many more to protect ourselves from cold and harmful elements. Well, I plan to buy new stuffs for this year. I plan to go to the mall this weekend. I’m sure there are lots of women’s sweaters display at the mall. It’s my friend who mentioned to me yesterday that she already bought sweaters, coat, boots and thick clothes and many winter stuffs. It’s affordable and I hope I can buy this weekend. As of now our weather started to change. It’s a little bit cold today. Also, the leaves are beginning to change into a wonderful and very colorful.

It’s my son’s birthday last week. We had a simple birthday party. My daughter cook Filipino and Canadian foods. It’s very delicious and all of us were happy. I also make two kinds of Filipino desserts. It is called suman in our dialect and the other one is bibingka or rice cake. Suman is a cook sticky rice wrap in a banana leaves while the rice cake is made of rice flour and bake in the oven. My other daughter just buy fruits and vegetables. My son also bought sheep meat and chicken. He barbecue it at the backyard. It’s a nice celebration. To my son happy birthday and I wish you good health and more happiness in life.

For me, stainless steel products are more good compare to plastic. That’s why every time I buy stuffs for my kitchen I make sure that it is stainless. It is durable and will last longer. Aside from barrels, pails and buckets, stainless steel drums are great. You can use them for so many years. It is very useful, safe, easy to clean, high quality and affordable. We can easily buy them in the market or even online.

A friend of mine asked my help. She called me on the phone and asked to baby sit her two kids. Both of them are working and they have the same schedule this week so they need my help. I went to their house yesterday, taking care of the kids and went home after. I’m glad that the kids are nice and they behave well. Today I will go there again and I plan to go to mall after.

Get together is one of my favorite past time. Having fun together with the family and friends is one of the memorable moments to treasure. It is completely enjoyable if you have your own outdoor electric grill. While talking to each other, you can grill something delicious to partake. Well, everybody loves pork barbecue, chicken barbecue, roasted chicken, fish or turkey. You know what? If there is barbecue, there is always rice. For me I can not live without rice in my plate. It’s our staple food back home. So, even I am in Canada I always cook rice and I really love it!

I had fun taking to my friend in California. He went to New York last week and apply for a job. Aside from applying a job he also visit the beautiful tourist attractions in New York. He took a lot of pictures and post it in facebook. They traveled by plane and stayed in the most elegant hotel in New York. I told him that New York is very near to my place. It is only 3 to 4 hours by car. But he said they’re very busy applying for a job and strolling at the same time. Well, I hope they get a good job and good luck my friend.
