Back to school again. I’m happy that my grand daughter is not here during the day. At least we become more peaceful at home. But I miss her sometimes. Even though she disturb me a lot but still I am happy with her. Sometimes I get mad because of the toys that scattered everywhere. She is very messy when it comes to her toys. Sometimes she let all her friends to play inside the house. It’s so noisy and so messy our house. They don’t even clean up after the play. Good thing sometimes she’s not here. At least we are quiet and so peaceful.

I never think of getting health insurance until my friend had a car accident last 2005. The front side of the car was totally damage and my friend’s left leg has a fracture and many bruises. It’s so sad for my friend’s family. I know they have cheap health insurance to use in the hospital. The husband says that it was covered by the insurance. At least her family did not suffer for the payments in the hospital. She spent one week there because of the leg surgery. I felt sad for my friend. All I can do that time was to pray to God for the recovery of her leg. As of now she’s fine and happy with her job and family as well.

Most of us love to eat vegetables. It is good for our body as well as in our health and we can get plenty of vitamins with it. Well, have you heard about pinakbit or meat vegetables stew? It is a traditional food of all Filipinos. Pinakbit or meat vegetables stew is one of Filipino’s favorite foods. The ingredients are eggplant, okra, ampalaya, pork and alamang or bagoong. It’s easy to cook because you only mix all the ingredients and then cook it. Actually, I’m not the one who cooks the pinakbit in the picture, it’s our neighbor Ana. She just gives it last night but I already finished eating. So, I just get my camera and take a picture and post here. I hope you like the texture, looks yummy and delicious.

My friend Joyce studied her second degree course while she was working in an agency. She heard that they were hiring for accounting jobs. She immediately enrolled an accounting degree for a year for this purpose as she wants to apply for the vacant position to become a permanent employee since she was just a contractual employee for a couple of years now. When she finished her accounting units, she applied to their agency and now she has the permanent job that she is dreaming of. Indeed, all her hard work in studying was really paid off with flying colours.

I was at Niagara Falls last week together with my daughter Agring, her kid Abby, son in law our driver and my other daughter Norm. Every summer we visit this amazing Niagara Falls. It’s my daughter who took this picture and I want to share to all of you. It’s a breathtaking view of the Niagara Falls during early summer. This authentic Niagara Falls found at the border between the United States and Canada. There are three big waterfalls: the Horseshoe Falls sometimes called the Canadian Falls, the American Falls and the smaller Bridal Veil Falls. It’s very wide, the most visited and popular waterfalls in the world.
The first picture is the Canadian Falls and the second is the American Falls. That awesome bridge belongs to Canada and USA. The left side is for Canada while the right side is for USA. The place there is Buffalo USA. If you want to go to the other side you need valid passport of visa. It is really needed to cross that bridge.

As a sales lady my friend Meme usually wears thick stocking to compress her legs while doing her job. Long standing made her legs painful and varicose veins start to appear. Afraid of having it severely she always wears compression stockings to prevent from getting worse. It is the answer of her tired legs. I felt bad last week I suffered from legs pain. Maybe because of the weather that’s why my arthritis is here again. Good it’s already fine now. I can walk nicely and all the pain is gone. Last week I use to take tylenol for relieve the pain. I always put it in my purse so that I can take if it is really aching. Now, the weather began to cold and I need to buy another jackets again. It’s fall time and winter is soon to come. I want a new coats and boats too. I am thinking of going to mall next weekend after I receive my salary.

Time moves so fast. It’s already 10 years since my brother started his grocery business. Before, I am always there willing to help but now I am so far from them. The only thing I can help is to advise in order to make the store more productive. I told them to put durable cardboard displays at the store. It is very useful and more convenient for customers. We communicate by phone and sometimes through email. He runs the business successfully together with his family. I am very proud of them.

I’m so thankful for the long weekend. At least I can relax a little bit and focus to my blogs. I am very stress from work and it’s the time to visit my friends blog. It’s more than a month since I did not communicate with my online friends. I am happy that it’s holiday today. I can also chat with my granddaughters and grandson back home. They are very excited with my Christmas gifts. I told them I will only give money this Christmas so that they can buy a stuffs that they likes most. It’s easy for me also to just give money than buy a stuffs and send by boxes. I can save if I will only send money compare to boxes.
